Frequently Asked Questions
Q: How long does the car-buying process typically take?
A: The duration varies based on your specific requirements, the time of year, and prevailing market conditions. It can range from a few days to several weeks or even months.
Q: Will I have the opportunity to inspect and test drive the vehicle before purchasing?
A: Typically yes, but it also depends on the vehicle's location. If the vehicle is not local to you, this can be difficult if you are wanting the car transported to you. We always recommend a vehicle inspection on a used car purchase. This inspection should include looking for signs of accidents, damage, and flooding.
Q: Where do you source pre-owned vehicles?
A: We consider pre-owned vehicles from various channels, including dealerships, off-lease and rental companies, auctions, and our network of existing customers.
Q: Do you facilitate new vehicle purchases?
A: Yes, we have established relationships with numerous new franchise dealerships. Through these partnerships, we negotiate new vehicle purchases, ensuring our customers save time, money, and avoid the typical hassles associated with the buying process.
Q: Do you review vehicle history reports like Carfax?
A: Absolutely. We utilize Carfax to check for any reported accidents and gain insights into the vehicle's maintenance history. Additionally, we ask the mechanical inspector to search for signs of prior paintwork, which may indicate unreported incidents. Occasionally Carfax accident reports are not loaded timely into their database and an accident can show up after a purchase. Hopefully your inspector can determine this. Our policy is to avoid vehicles with accident histories unless a customer specifically requests consideration of vehicles with minor accidents in order to reduce costs. We do not deal with vehicles that have branded titles.
Q: Do you work for the dealerships?
A: No, our allegiance is solely to you. We represent your interests to ensure your car-buying experience aligns with your preferences and needs.
